Establishing communication with MS Bridge via SDK

Greetings,

do you have experience with establishing communication with Milestone Open Network Bridge via ONVIF or Milestone SDK?

It’s known that it’s possible to connect with applications like VLC or ONVIF Device Manager, however, those aren’t usable for integration purposes.

We have the following problem with using for example MIP Component integration Live Viewer template. After questionable autorization to MS Bridge and selecting a camera – nothing is shown and after a while, an error “connection lost to server” appears, for which MS Bridge log contains no entry. Attempting various login attempts (as well as different feasible ports 80, 580 etc.) using ONVIF client library also fails as well as using ONVIF web-discovery library functions.

Please verify that you can see images from the camera when you use Smart Client in the PC. The most likely is that you have a general issue with the setup or network, we can rule that out by testing this.

Greetings, we have tested connecting via XProtect Smart Client in PC and it also doesn’t work – we are not able to login.

It sounds like the issue can be rather general issue, not SDK, so please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.
