I have a scenario where clients from seperate domains want to be able to access the system, currently those users need to be setup as basic users OR have an account configured on the server hosted domain.
Cyber has already denied a trust between domains so that is out.
We have configured a firewall rule so we can connect to the remote domain & I can use an LDAP browser to connect successfully.
Other applications have the ability to do this for multi domain authentication and this as a feature would have saved us a lot of issues on this install.
The fact alone that basic users cant set/change their own password using the web or smart client was a huge blow.
