Hi community, I am working on enabling metadata of Axis cameras ONVIF profile M compliant and to integrate it with Milestone XProtect smart client. how about the configuration?

If you have problems adding an Axis camera to XProtect the question is not related to software development with the MIP SDK, which is the focus of this forum, please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.

If you have a camera added and want to develop a plugin to present metadata in the Smart Client then a good place to start is the Smart Client Overlay Graph on Event plugin sample.

The sample does not read metadata but events. The best sample on reading metadata is the Metadata Live Viewer sample.
