Hi, I am new to Milestone products but have been asked to see if it is possible to get integrate the camera (the number plate from the camera) into our .Net application?Is this possible and are there any restrictions to what product/s are supported?

Yes you can get detected license plates from our XProtect LPR product into your own application. Please have a look at the Alarm and Events Viewer sample:
