Hi, we have Milestone implementation where we extract JPEG image using Milestone SDK to remote Milestone Svr, the update interval is 2-3 secs, but sometime it took 40 secs to get an update, Is there any way to troubleshoot?TIA,Johanes.

the network and service (Image Server) response time is normal as usual, the playback also OK, in the log we didn’t found any error.

I would start with the general health of the server. Is it using 100% CPU?

If this is a protocol integration a good idea might be to trace the communication using Wireshark or similar, it might be revealing.

Hi, the server only have about 30 IP CAMs, CPU & Mem utilization less than 20%, no user access through Smartclient or Mobile, currently we’re unable to find reason behind the anomalies in JPEG update time inconsistency.

I wonder if you can tell me more about the methods that you are using? Is this image server protocol? Is this JPEGLiveSource? Is this something other?

Johanes what did it take for you to extract the JPEG image from a camera on milestone? Was it a small or large SDK task. I am trying to do something similar with Azure Cog services for motion detected images.
