Hi,We have problem when we installed Milestone express 2017 and we do all steps mention bellow in details, many times we have problem to see live view thru Active X. We are software integrator - C4 system of Gamanet company.Thank you for helping

  1. On the C4 client computer you must install Milestone SDK redistributables package.

    1. Install Milestone MIP SDK 2014 - Redistributable (x86) if using Milestone XProtect 2014 and 2016.
    2. Install Milestone MIP SDK 2017 R2 - Redistributable (x86) if using Milestone XProtect 2017 R2.

  2. Then start cmd.exe as Administrator and register ActiveX component following these steps:

  3. 1. in command line navigate to folder Milestone\MIPSDK\Bin. This is either stored in [C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files or [C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files (x86). So the first command is either

  4. cd [C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files\Milestone\MIPSDK\Bin\

  5. or

  6. cd [C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files (x86)\Milestone\MIPSDK\Bin\

  7. 2. once you are in proper folder, run the second command:

  8. regsvr32.exe ImageViewerDotNet.dll

Important: Only 32 bit redistributable package is supported.

I am in doubt what you are reporting exactly.

Are you saying you see live video but sometimes it fails for a time period like the video is falling out?

Are you saying that in one PC this does not work and you are never able to see video while other PCs work fine?

Do you see any error messages, while installing, registering or watching live video?
