How can I get the ptz - zoom current position?

I’m using mobileSDK (2019).

From axis vapix I can get the information from /axis-cgi/com/ptz.cgi?query=position. Is there something similar for the mobileSDK ?

Unfortunately I think such information cannot be retrieved trough Mobile SDK.

Yes, I think it is possible trough MIP SDK via “Control.PTZGetAbsoluteRequest”.

I understand you surprise but unfortunately MIP SDK Mobile is a sub-set of the features exposed by the “regular” MIP SDK.

Can I get the MIP SDK for the mobile-server or push new functions into the mobile-server? :blush:

Hi Harvard,

We do have a plan to implement plug-in system and for Mobile server.

The goal is exactly what you mentioned - possibility for the integrators to extend mobile server commands (with new ones).

Unfortunately I cannot give any estimation when :frowning:
