The limitation of one camera per hardware for Driver Framework drivers has been removed from VMS version 2021 R1 and forward.

Is there a upper limit number? Or I can add any number of cameras in one

hardware at will when developing with DriverFramework? For example, if I want to develop a driver for NVR, There may be hundreds of cameras in one hardware.

It says, “The limitation of one camera per hardware for Driver Framework drivers has been removed from VMS version 2021 R1 and forward.” So yes, you can add any number. On the other hand, we assume that there might be a reasonable number for your server – consider your server spec and camera load for the server, so please test suitable number for you.
