The preset positions were previously defined and saved on the PTZ camera itself via the camera’s own configuration interface (PTZ camera type 2 and 3 from this documentation).
I can get (import/refresh) list of the presets from a camera using the XProtect Management client, but I cannot find this feature in the SDK documentation.
Thank you for your answer! I was using XProtect 2022 R2 when I asked this question. According to your answer, I was using this particular sample (the issue was resolved). But after upgrading to XProtect 2023 R2, I got an exception. Could you recommend how to solve this problem?
I have one test failing same as you and another test working fine. I have an idea that it would be a help for me if you tell me the camera you are testing with. What is the camera make, model, firmware version? Looking in the Management Client Hardware Information, what is the driver being used? (If you have tested with multiple cameras let me get a brief overview.)
