ImageView ActiveX on 64-Bit Internet Explorer Browser

Hi,

I am trying to play live/playback video using IE 64-Bit browser but it’s not working. Whilw same works fine on IE 32-Bit browser.

Is there any compatiablity issue of ActiveX with 64-Bit browser ?

As in the Smart Client 2016 versions, we are moving away from ActiveX. We do not currently have an 64-bit compatible ActiveX module, so you will have to use a 32-bits Internet Explorer for now.

Clarification: The default Smart Client contains a 64-bit version of the ImageViewerDotNet.dll in its \bin folder - but is not used by default. Also, in the Player\bin folder there is 32-bit version, to be used for exports with player.

As for the MIPSDK, we distribute with a 64-bit version by default and we also have a 32-bit version included in the redistributable x86 installer.

It should work for both 64 bit and 32 bit IE versions.
