In a dual recording server configuration where the output from a single camera is being recorded by two separate recording servers, I would like to have any bookmark or alarm event raised against the camera logged automatically against all of the recording server instances for that camera.

At the moment, those separate recording server instances for the same physical camera are coming back as two different cameras and I don’t want to make to manage a list of “recording server instances” for the one physical camera.

The same camera added to two recording servers will act as two cameras. XProtect will never realize that this is the same camera (the exception being when calculating license use).

You might already use rule functionality for having an alarm and a bookmark. For further question please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.
