Is it allowed that a application developed using SmartClient SDK redistribute SmartClientPlayer to users?

Hello,

We’re developing an application using SmartClient SDK which has a video-exporting feature like SmartClient. Because the videos exported from the application should be played at PC which has no XProtect environment, we would like to distribute a player with an exported video-formatted file.

At first, we considered the way that our application output the XProtectSmartClientPlayer with videos using the export feature. However it was found out that current XProtect SDK does not allow any application except SmartClient to export videos with SmartClientPlayer.

Then we would like to know is it okay to put SmartClientPlayer which we got when exporting videos from SmartClient once with the video exported from our application together and distribute them to our users? (It means, is it allowed to redistribute SmartClientPlayer to users.)

The Smart Client is free, it would be OK to put SmartClientPlayer to user of your integration. You could also say that the Smart Client today offers to export including player and there is no restrictions on how many you share or distribute.
