Is it possible to determine if a camera is in 'independent playback' mode?

In the Smart Client, when in Live workspace mode, we can place an individual camera view-item into Independent Playback mode using the button on the view-item toolbar.

Is it possible to be notified of when a camera is put into independent playback mode?

If so, how do we also receive information about the commands (play/stop/etc.) and the playback time for the independent playback camera?

No, unfortunately it is not.

We have it in the wish list for future development work, but so far it has not been prioritized so I cannot tell you when or even if this will be developed.
