Is it possible to enable an idle timer for mobile clients, so if idle you'll get logged out after x amount of time.I've found that in the past you've had a 30 minute idle timer, but it got removed in 2017.Reference: Article Number: 000001481

Hello,

There is no built-in idle timer in the mobile clients.

Typically, if the mobile server doesn’t receive any communication from a mobile client, it’ll close the session after a minute or so.

So if the user puts his phone to sleep, or puts the app in the background, the client will be logged out after short time.

Also, there is a setting in the mobile client to prevent the device from sleeping while watching video. Make sure the setting is OFF

Thank you for replying, but I’ve worded it wrong I can see now.

What I meant to ask was if I could add an idle timer on the Mobile Server, so that mobile clients would get logged out automatically.

We’re using an internet connection with a data limit, so if our clients leave their phones/tablets on with live feed overnight, it’s going to use all that data very fast.

So we’re looking for an idle timer on the Mobile Server to log them out automatically after 15-30 minutes if possible.
