Is it possible to push security alerts from an external system to Milestone? Our product adds additional metadata to the video feed and our client would like to be able to see our events in Milestone GUI.

I believe Analytics Events, which will be able to include additional information or metadata, will be a good fit.

Maybe this will be a good introduction.
