Is there any way in MIPS or somehow to embbed a COM control into XProtect ? We need to build an special integration for a customer that want to use some proprietary sensors.

The MIP Library is currently using .NET Framework 4.7.2. If your COM Control can be wrapped into a .NET Framework 4.72 solution you will be able to use it, both in standalone MIP SDK based applications and in MIP Plug-ins.

No, there are no samples that does anything like this in the list of official samples, and I have no example in my portfolio.
There might be examples elsewhere, examples of using an older COM control in a newer .NET Framework solution..
There is also chance that other users actively following the forum answers sharing their experience, but I think your best chance is to try to search other forums.
