The question wasn’t so much about what features are available in Milestone depending on license type but is there any restrictions in the SDK, as well as is there anyway to determine the minimum version required to use a function.
For example, we need to determine a camera status but can’t see anything in the SDK that says when these features became available. Same with pulling up footage. So I guess what we’re asking is does each SDK specifiy a minimum server version and if so are all features in the SDK available to use as long as their server has the correct license?
Those questions appear directly related to programming with the SDK?
As long as the XProtect servers have the functionality and MIP SDK supports the functionality, the MIP SDK will work. The MIP SDK will never impose limitations based on version.
