Is there anything special that needs to be done to view H265 streams in Xprotect Managemt Client 2019 R1?

We have a camera simulator that we use for testing. When I use a H265 video, and add that camera to the Recording Server, Milestone chooses the “H265 Main Profile” codec as I would expect. But the Camera Preview window says that the Connection to the camera is lost and trying to reconnect… However, if I manually change the codec via the drop down selection to “H264 Baseline Profile”, the camera immediately starts streaming again. Is there a reason the H265 profile is failing to stream from the camera using the H265 Codec automatically chosen by Milestone Add Hardware?
