Licensing checking, user roles and permissions, trial mode, concurrent runs, etc

Hello,

I’m interested to implement at least three restrictive functions in my system:

- trial mode: should be defined the trial period and how many connections or machines can run during the trial period

- there are some features in the program that should be allowed for some users (administrators) only

- should be the ability to control a quantity of running at the same time program instances (concurrent runs).

What is the best way to do that in code?

Could you please refer me to some sample, article, or blog post where I can find some descriptive explanation of the best practice (or practices) regarding license management on the Milestone Platform?
