Localization of item commands in Smart Client (context menu of map icons)

I would like to translate commands that appear in the context menu of an icon representing an item created by our plugin.

I have checked the sample that talks about this topic, SensorMonitor, and it shows how to translate them.

But, if I run the sample, and set the Smart Client language to Danish (the sample brings the “da” resources library), everything is translated but the commands are still shown in English , localization is not working.

How can we translate these strings to the Smart Client selected UI language?

I attach a picture in which the ‘da’ library can be seen, and the Smart Client is in Danish (I guess) but the commands are shown in English.

You can translate context menu inside these two methods:

  • public override Collection<Data.EventGroup> GetKnownEventGroups(CultureInfo culture)
  • public override Collection<Data.EventType> GetKnownEventTypes(CultureInfo culture)

where cultureinfo is SC culture
