Maps: could not add camera element from a slave server or any other recording server

I am using Xprotect Professional 2017 R2 (11.2a)

Situation: Smart Client logged into master server with 2 other slave servers. Setup mode, editing shared views on map function.

In the Smart Client, I could not add a camera from a slave camera server on shared maps, but master server all cameras show up. Couldnt add a slave server through recording server in toolbar, either.

Any insight? patch or workaround?

If it is the Map we are talking about (and not Smart Map):

Maps on master servers can only contain cameras from the master server and maps on a slave server can only contain cameras from the same slave server.

The workaround for this is to create a hotzone that links to a map on a slave server. However setup of the slave map still needs to be done while connected to the slave server.
