Merging LOCAL and EDGE database into a single one

Hello,

we use to backup directly into external USB HDD, data from retention time folder.

When disk is full, we create a project mounting database from copied data.

This is working good and we see the single camera from start to end.

Now, we have implemented EDGE Recording into some of our cameras. When I try to build a project using our workaround, we see TWO DEVICES and not one, a device for LOCAL and a device for EDGE.

How do we do to have ONE single device and the recordings from all database?

If I try to export directly from SmartClient, it result single device project with both recorded video. If I look into folder structure, I can see the same as the one we created. So how do we merge databases?

Does exists a way generate/fill/edit archive_cache.xml or config.xml, directly from SDK?

Amen

There is no functionality in the MIP SDK to merge, neither to merge files before putting them into a MIP SDK based player application nor for a MIP SDK based player application to perceive two file/folders as being the same device and then merge data.

There is no functionality to generate/fill/edit archive_cache.xml or config.xml in the MIP SDK.
