Hello, where can I find administrator guide for migration from physical to virtual environment?
Now we want to migrate from physical to virtual environment, but we are not sure how to do it faster and correctly without losing data and stopping surveillance video system Milestone Xprotect 5.0, because of security reasons.
Now we wont to build VMWARE ESXI in one physical server, and inside VMWARE ESXI we want to build Milestone Xprotect surveillance system, all components of system in one virtual environment under VMWARE ESXI.
Is it possible to migrating without data lost and losing video signal of cameras and video records trough process of migration?
For example what is the best way to migrate without security breaches when the airport state is operational, we know every one airport is in operational mode 24 hours 7 days and it is critical to shutdown fully surveillance system to create new one.
Is it possible to stream from one camera to two different surveillance systems, in our case in our infrastructure for example is it possible one camera to stream to two Milestone Xprotect system in the same time?
One time to our Physical infrastructure and one time to our new virtual environment in the same time, and for example after 30 days can we stop the physical system and to switch fully to new system in the virtual environment without losing data and security breaches?
I will be happy to see your experience in this heavy process and your advices I am junior with these things.
