Milestone Camera Live Feed as MJPEG

Hi All,

It is possible to Milestone camera live feed as MJPEG URL.

I dont want it as rtsp://:554/live/

I think the link you show has to do with the Milestone XProtect ONVIF Bridge product.

The Milestone XProtect ONVIF Bridge requires that the camera is H264, and the stream it can supply is always H264.

Please note that if not using ONVIF Bridge but instead using the MIP SDK there are methods in the MIP .Net library to give you JPEG images. Please explore the Media Live viewer sample. - http://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html?base=samples/medialiveviewer.html&tree=tree_2.html

I’m using Essential+ 2018 R2. But my ONVIF Bridge service fails to start with error “Exception: ONVIF Bridge Not allowed with free surveillance”

In order for custom webpage for public user to view the Live Feed as MJPEG,

Do you mean I need to use MIP SDK and compile all the JPEG images by myself??

Milestone XProtect doesn’t expose the live feed as MJPEG ?

I think you will have to use the MIP SDK. It will work very nicely with all versions including XProtect Essential+
