Mobile server daily log(s) incorrect day and time

Hello, Since I updated to xprotect go 2016, the mobile server daily log(s) have each entry with the incorrect hour and minute, and entries are posted 1 day in advance. The system time is correct in windows and the BIOS, as well as the time on cameras and in the management application and smart client. Is this a bug? Or how can I adjust the time parameters for the mobile server logs? Thank you.

I don’t think there is anything to adjust. On the other hand, I am scratching my head where the Mobile Server gets a wrong time stamp from.

I wonder if the logon times are possibly from the mobile device, and this has a wrong system time..?

I am also scratching my head at this, since having used the software for years and never seen this before. The time is correct on the mobile applications for “recent history” list and live view as well as the mobile devices system time. All connections are being used in the same time zone. Attached picture shows a login event highlighted with the log time and the actual real time.

Also…I am not sure if this is related or not, but just on my android device, Milestone Mobile (Installed on a Nexus 9 OS 5.1.1; Milestone mobile app version 10.0) will not allow me to select a date or “Go To Time”, without listing a year to pick from, such as as year (varies) 154273525. Yes, I know this is year 2016 not 154273525. Playback from recent history does not load but rather tries to load a date from many thousand years from now. [for example, I wanted to load a time event from 3:10:27 on 4-25-2016, the preview is of the last most recent still frame, and the date and time on the app says 7/12/123028584 at 9:12:41AM.]

This has to be a bug in the software, please don’t tell me to reinstall the software, and I did send my first post to support@milestone.us and they told me to come here and were not instested in my request. [Web inquiry 178237]

Thank you.

Andrew, thanx for you detailed description. My Customer Service colleagues have acted correctly, as the only support available for XProtect Go is via this Forum and out Knowledge Base.

Hoever, I have reopened the case and taken ownership of it because I want to have this clarified in case there really is a bug in the Mobile Server (if yes, it would also be present in all other XProtect products). I will get back to you.

Torsten, Thank you for looking into this for me. I do understand the reson for the email responce from support, though this was an extra special issue I wanted to make customer service aware of. Please let me know if I can assist with more information.

Andrew, I have sent you a long list of question via the support case. Pls let us know some answers.

Andrew,

here the summary of what we have found:

  1. The wrong time stamps etc: Will be fixed in the 2016 spring release of Mobile Server
  2. The missing video which you reported as a separate issue: Please disable the “Enable full video”. We realized that your client had issues with accepting a full HD video.
  3. Regarding your proposal ‘Can you make a change for the iOS Apple app to have the Live PiP, stay hidden after a request to “hide” and not come back after selecting an event from recent history?’: I have given your request to the responsible manager, and he has confirmed that he has received it.

As agreed, I have closed the support case.

Regards,

Torsten

Thank you Torsten!
