.NET and ASP .NET Updates

I am looking for someone to provide any guidance related to updates for .NET and ASP .NET. Is there any proper steps that are required for this to work properly? Do we need to start with a particular server first? Management or Recording? Should .NET be updated first before the ASP .NET or vice versa?

I still have .NET 6 installed on management server. can this just be uninstalled after .NET 8 is installed?

Mainly I’m looking for any feedback as to how I should expect the updates to go and what may happen if not done properly.
