No recordings available with media streaming certificate

I followed the instructions to create a CA and server certificates:

Introduction to certificates

I installed the CA and the certificates in my milestone system (for testing all on one machine).

When i use my certificate as Server Certificate and for Event Server and Addons, everything works as expected.

When I use the same certificate also as Streaming Media Certificate:

  • I no longer have access to the live view of the cameras
  • I no longer get alarms (in Smart Client)
  • My self-developed plugin does not receive alarm

Please provide help for this issue, thanks!

I have an idea that when the XProtect VMS and Smart Client works your plugin will too.

Please ask again in the support community, how to best solve the issue on the certificates, you should get better help from the partners using the support community on this kind of troubleshooting.
