No response from VIVOTEK camera. When call from remote computer;

I have built a standalone restful application. It uses MIP components.

It has APIs which extract video in MKV format for given time range and camera image for given time.

I use XProtect Essential+ 2021 R2.

I have 3 cameras: Sony, VIVOTEK and Axis.

When I run my restful application in same machine which has XProtect then I get response for camera image and video from all 3 cameras.

But when I run my restful application in another machine which does not have XProtect. The new machine is in same network. I get response for camera image and video from Sony and Axis camera. But I don’t get response from VIVOTEK camera. I get error which says No Image found or No video found for given time range. But it has video and image.

Is there any known issue with VIVOTEK camera in my kind of scenerio.

Do you have the same issue when you use Smart Client from the machine which does not have XProtect?

Yes it did not work with XProtect client as well.

I get this export error.

VIVOTEK - Camera 1 10:03:10 AM 10:04:18 AM No recordings or unable to decode video for the selected time range.

This is what I get in code as well. Not found the video.

It sounds like that the issue can be rather general issue, not SDK, so please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.
