No views in webclient, Mobile server viewing log error - "The requested operation requires a connection to a surveillance server"

XProtect Expert 2016 - When selecting the “open” options for log folder, Investigations folder, Today’s log folder or Open XProtect web client from Right-clicking on the mobile server manager in the taskbar, I get the above error.

The Mobile server is installed on the same server as the management and recording server. It has been this way since installation. I have a yellow light here vs a green lite. Hovering over it shows “started with errors”.

I believe this is why my views created in the smart client do not show in the web client. I only see the option for “all cameras”

Well, I found the answer for the error message under KB 000002331. It’s a bug in the software. 2 workarounds. enable both http and https ans something else. Problem is, it still did not solve my views not showing in the web client. I still only have the “all cameras” and public views.

My views are now showing up in the webclient. I’m not sure if disabling the “all cameras” solved this or if I simply didn’t see it because it was listed under “public”. I do believe I did check there earlier, though.
