Problems loading MIP Plugin in Siemens Siveillance VMS Management Client 2023 R1

Hi,

we have a MIP plugin integration that was tested on Milestone Xprotect 2023 R1.

This plugin has the following items in the folder:

In our development context, we installed the MIP SDK. this is the reason there are no reference to VideoOS.Platform.dll in the installation folder, and in that way works properly.

In our environment, plugin is running properly and appears in Management client

But we have a problem with a final customer that is using Siemens Siveillance 2023 R1.

They have other plugins working properly, but I saw that in their folders there are explicit references to VideoOS.Platform libraries.

When we put the folder in MIPPlugins installation folder, once we open Management client we can see the following error:

It seems that there is no installed the MIP SDK on this context, since we can not check the folder MIPSDK folder in Milestone installation path.

Could be this the reason of the problem? Should we install the MIP SDK in order to be able to run the plugin properly? Or maybe there is some change on this VMS version in order to configure and implement the plugin libraries?

If the solution is to install the MIP SDK, what is the better version of it to install on this context?

At the same time, if we install the MIP SDK, does this affect to the rest of the installed plugins?

The Management Client will have a VideoOS.Platform.dll. You should not install a MIP SDK unless you are a developer (Newest version of MIP SDK does not have installer but NuGets, samples etc.. I suspect instead that the VideoOS.Platform.dll in the customers case is older than the one you have in your development environment.
