Why ProvideCurrentStateRequest sometimes reports that cameras as “Not Responding” when cameras are online.
We did use StatusViewer as our sample when writing this.
I do not think I have ever experienced this.
If the recording server or cameras work fine but the event server is out for some reason you will not have reliable status information. This is my only idea initially so please see if the event server runs fine and does not malfunction.
The StatusViewer sample has a label which either shows “Connected”, “.” or “Not Connected, retrying”. If not “Connected” none of the status information is trustworthy.
If that is not it..
Can you try to describe the setup, the circumstances under which it happens etc.? (I would like to reproduce it in the Milestone test labs if possible.)
