The Documentation for the restful API was not updated for 2024 R1.

Is there now a way to create Bookmarks using the restful API?

There is a new documentation.

Note that I also saw the old documentation until I did a refresh on the browser (Ctrl-F5).

Bad news; there is no bookmarking capabilities in 2024R1. Good news, there will be in 2024R2.
