Hello everybody,

I have some problem with HTML page integration on Milestone Xprotect Smart Client, when i add the URL an error message appears that concern an error on the web site script , but when i open the same web site on google i have no problem.

The problem concernent an .js folder and i want to know if it can come from Milestone ?

Hello mister Andersen,

Sorry for my late answer, i saw your message and i followed all instruction on the shared link, but i still have an script error. Add an Client.exe register change the message on the error.

I see that milestone use the latest version of internet explorer installed on the computer (IE 11 in my case) so i don’t understand why i can open it directly on IE 11 and not on Milestone.

Please do you have any other sugestion that can help me ?

The Smart Cleint is relying on System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser component.

At the moment it’s using Internet Explorer 7.0 engine, so some of the javascript features are not supported. We have a plan to upgrade it, but cannot tell yet when it happens.

Ok thank you for this usefull information, do you think there are another way to integrate it into the smart client? its very important that we have this website on the smart client before thinking about marketing.

Yes. You can write your own MIP Plugin for the Smart Client. In this Plugin you can use some other WPF or WinForms browser component, with good javascript support.

called Toolbox. The latest version includes gecko based engine for web.

Ive never gotten errors using it.

I download the smart software toolbox and when i try to install it they ask for me a license and product key. We use an essential+ version that haven’t product key. so what can i do for obtain this protect key ?

Hi,

all versions of Milestone has SLC. You can find it in MC, License info in the left side navigation panel. You should request demo thru website using you SLC.
