Searching with extended forensic data in metadata with Milestone Xprotect Client

Hello,

We’re developing cameras with extended analytics capacity.

The metadata in the stream (per ONVIF profile M) contains info about clothing color of objects that are classified as person. For instance Person > Clothing > Top > Color and Person > Clothing > Bottoms > Color (As described in 5.3.14 ‘Human body descriptor’ of https://www.onvif.org/specs/srv/analytics/ONVIF-Analytics-Service-Spec.pdf

The standard Xprotect Client Search Filters do not include these search parameters, so we can search for instance for people with red sweaters.

How can we make these search filters available in the Xprotect Client?

Is creating a search plugin the way forward, or are there any other options?

I seems to require substantial knowledge and SW development resources.

Is there a party that can make these plug-ins for us?

Or does Milestone have a service that we can involve?

You are right that developer resources are needed for what I am suggesting.

Milestone does have Custom Development teams. Whether this is a job fit for them I cannot say. Please contact you local Milestone sales representative, they will be able to establish contact etc. A Milestone sales representative might also know of local Milestone partners that might be able to help.
