I am trying to install plugin to XProtect Smart Client 2013 R2. However after installing the plugin the Select View list is not populated with the new plugin’s view. I tried logging out of the Client and re-logging also tried rebooting the system. However this does not help. Please let me know, how to debug this issue.

I would suspect the older Smart Client having a VideoOS.platform.dll too old, see this knowledge base article: https://developer.milestonesys.com/s/article/XProtect-Smart-Client-cannot-load-your-MIP-plugin
Try the newer VideoOS.Platform.dll if that does not solve it see: https://developer.milestonesys.com/s/article/debugging-techniques-for-Smart-Client-plugins
