Do you have a basic sample of xml you can send to show metadata bounding box on the smart client?
I know you are still working on the documentation, but i really need this simple basic sample to start working.
Right now, i cant figure out how to write metadata to a specific camera.
Unfortunately we do not have a sample on this. We expect to include the documentation of the API in the 2019 R2 release, but for now the only documentation is what is linked to in the post you refer to.
If you are having trouble implementing the protocol based on this I will recommend running the “Video and metadata provider” or “Metadata provider with multiple channels” samples (on a Windows machine) and then wireshark the communication between this and the VMS. That should give you a fairly good idea of what should be done.
