I tried to follow the ‘Sensor Monitor plugin example documentation’ located at http://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html and I’m able to configure/run it on XProtect Management Application but after configuring roles (as the documentation says to do) I open XProtect Smart Client to continue following the documentation but I can’t see the ‘Element Selector’ or the sensors on the map.
Basically I’m not able to continue the documentation on the XProtect Smart Client side. Help icon says Sensor Monitor plugin is loaded.
What could be I missing? Another plugin or configuration need to be done?

The plugin does not need to be installed on the Smart Client machine - only on the Management Client and Event Server machines. And make sure to restart the Event Server after installing the plugin.
In the Smart Client be aware that it is the Map view item that is referred to in the sample documentation and not the Smart Map. From 2018 R3 Smart Map also supports similar functionality, but the instructions for populating the map would then be slightly different.
Finally make sure to be in setup mode and have the Map view item selected - that should make the element selector show up.
