I am a milestone manager in Korea.I have one issue and I will contact you.We are currently using the 2016 R3, and we have a total of 24 screens in total, including a computer with 12 split windows. Despite good computer specs, it was so slow that I could not control it, so I switched only the Smart Client to the 2014 version. It is faster than 2016R3, but the problem is that the camera name is not displayed on the camera title bar of the view window slowly or it is not displayed.I’ve already tested it with a different version.If it is a known issue, please solve it.
I would have tested with a newer Smart Client instead of an older and tried to ensure that hardware acceleration was used. But maybe you are catching something that the older Smart Client that does not do hardware acceleration surprisingly performs better in your PC.
