Smart Client 2024 R1 streaming red-white-yellow OSD with SDK requests

My client using Smart Client 2024 R1 experiences weird red-white-yellow OSD, it seems to be some debug logs of SDK communication between my integration using XProtect 2022 SDK and their XProtect VMS. Is anyone familiar with such OSD and what would enable it?

Thank You for Your answer. The customer did not install MIP SDK on the client machine (I believe 2020 was the last installer). We use the nuget to distribute MIP SDK 2022 with our product built-in. the only plugin distributed I can think of would be “mfxplugin64_hevcd_sw.dll”, should it be deleted?. Shall the customer check “[C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files\Milestone\MIPPlugins\” on the VMS machine or we are talking about the client machine only?

The Smart Client plugins are loaded from the client machine, so the local “[C:\Program Files\Milestone\MIPPlugins\](file:C:/Program%C2%A0Files/Milestone/MIPPlugins/)” is where to look.

My guess that an old MIP SDK has been installed at some point in time, but files could have been transferred in some other way.

If deeper troubleshooting is required please use: https://developer.milestonesys.com/s/article/debugging-techniques-for-Smart-Client-plugins

Please note that I do not presently know what “mfxplugin64_hevcd_sw.dll” is, but I can say that this is not part of any of the MIP SDK plugin samples. If this is part of the plugin you are supplying then removing the file would potentially be like removing your plugin. My guess is that this is not what you want.

The last MIP SDK installer is version 2022R1 - https://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html?base=gettingstarted/mip2022r1_intro.html&tree=tree_home.html
