SmartClient getting error trying to connect to cameras: Connection to server failed. Retrying...

Hi, I’m trying to view live camera streams on a SmartClient that’s on a different VLAN from the Milestone Recording Server and I’m getting the error:

Connection to server failed:

Retrying… cameraname

http://milestoneserver:7563/.

Running the SmartClient on the same VLAN as my server works fine. Also, Camera streams created using StableFPS have the same problem as real cameras.

Any ideas what could be going on? My tech support person has run out of ideas :slight_smile:
