StableFPS driver not listed when i try to add hardware

I have a test machine with all Milestone services installed (Corporate 2020 R3). I would like to add hardware using the StableFPS driver (2021 R1). I followed the installation steps and it seems to have been completed successfully. I have checked the presence of the libraries in the folders and changed the library revision in the StableFPS.xlm file as suggested in the readme.

When I try to add the hardware to the recording server the StableFPS driver is not under the Milestone category.

Any suggestions on how to debug the problem?

My first troubleshooting would be to run the batch file again..

“[C:\Program](file:C:/Program) Files\Milestone\MIPSDK\Tools\StableFPS\InstallStableFPS_EXTERNAL.bat”

Doing it again I would be extra careful to notice if there was any error or similar.

Note that this must be run in the Recording Server while the Recording Server service is shut down. You cannot run this “remote”, if you have multiple recording server where you need this you must run it in each server..

Thanks for your reply, I also tried this but but it didn’t work.

In the end I used a universal driver with a simulated rtsp stream with VLC player.

No errors? To me this is a mystery but I am happy to hear you found another way.
