StartExport of Type Jpeg never generated with XPMobileSDK.js librairy

Hi,

When requesting a JPEG export from XPMobileSDK.js librairy, the Milestone Mobile Server do not generate the .jpeg file.

The web client keep requesting for the end of the export but never gets it.

Request of the end of the export generation every second, it never stops, the Jpeg file is not generated of the server Export directory.

Attached the email with the screenshots that describes the problem.

Hi Eric,

First of all sorry for the delay with response.

Unfortunately Still image exports (aka JPEG and PNG) are not longer supported in the Mobile Server since 2021 R1.

We decided that value in them is very limited and removed the whole implementation.

Unfortunately we didn’t manage to properly:

  • Communicate it well, including in the documentation.
  • Remove it from the SDKs.
  • Return correct errors from the mobile server (aka StartExport to fail with an error).

We also removed the whole TA for it, so there wasn’t a negative test case. And the functionality has been removed from the Milestone clients long time ago.

Thanks to your post however I’ll do this right now!
