Universal Driver issues TEARDOWN on RTP stream immediately after data is sent

Hello,

I’ve attached a Wireshark screenshot below in which you will see the stream handshake, but as soon as data is sent from the device to Milestone a TEARDOWN request comes through and stops the stream. We never see video in the preview, but as you can see with the screenshot below everything up until that point seems to be working fine.

My question is:

Are there any ways to debug why Milestone is issuing that TEARDOWN? Or how to know if the video bytes are not in server expected format (if that is the problem). I’m having trouble with moving forward because I have no information from Milestone of why it is destroying the stream.

I would be glad to answer any questions or provide additional info. Please let me know if there is anything that would assist.

Thanks!

BTW. I have removed external IP addresses from the capture image.

I am guessing the data sent to the driver / recording server is not accepted, that it is judged to be invalid data thus the TEARDOWN.

This is a device issue, and with such issues you should open a support case or seek help in the Support Community.

Bo,

Yeah I get the same impression. Thank you as always.

Bo,

Hey do you know for sure which RFC the Universal Driver/Milestone adhere’s to? Is it this one:

RTP Payload Format for H.264 Video -
