Using the Mobile Server Protocol Command Channel 'StartExport' request, how can we request to 'Include the XProtect SmartClient Player' in the zip file when using the db format?

You cannot do this in the Mobile Server protocol. You will notice that the Milestone Web Client does not have the capability either. You will have to make sure the user will install a Milestone Smart Client when needed.
