Using Ubuntu 22.04 and Milestone SDK - best practice?

We have just joined Milestone Technology Partners programs and are amazed with the amount of information which is there.

we developed a special Linux based server with our own AI analytic and classifiers. We get the rtsp from any cctv cameras and resend the video with our detection embedded back to the Milestone as “normal” rtsp channel.

When we classify/identify an object/Threat, our sw needs to send an alert to your VMS via any kind of protocol that you will recommend us to use.

we will appreciate your recommendations and guidance as to which method and tools (that you provide in your portal) will be the best and fastest way to accomplish this task, taking into consideration that we are linux based (using ubuntu 22.04) and are code is in python.

So to summarize - we need to send Milestone VMS alerts – so the videos which we stream generic to your vms will pop out to the end user client SW based on our alarm trigger. Of course, we will send many alerts per the number of cameras the server will handle.

Your prompt reply is highly appreciated.

The Analytics Event Trigger via XML sample uses methods that can be ported and used in Linux. It send Analytics Events which could be exactly the kind of VMS alerts you ask for.

From what you describe I would like to also mention the AI Bridge that Milestone has.
