Is there a way of validating that the video Im about to export is not corrupt or broken is some way via the SDK in the time period selected?
Im using the MIP Environment: VideoOS.Platform.Data.MKVExporter Class.
I would like to see so the video isnt blank some part of the video in the selected time period. Also I would like to know it isnt broke in some other way.
Best regards
XProtect Advanced VMS and Professional VMS has several different ways of ensuring the integrity of the recordings, but if the Mediadatabase is corrupted at the point of export, you will most likely run into problems, in particular for the MKV exports, which do not require any decoding, but merely copies the H.264 streams to the MKV export file.
Ultimately we have no method for pre-flight checking an export.
Under normal circumstances an MKV export will include the gaps, which should playback as static frames, very similar to the skip gaps playback feature in the Smart Client.
