By using ClientControl.EmbeddedCameraFQIDProperty, it is possible make the audio side-bar autoselecting to related microphone for the camera when the view is selected (rgbvideoenhance sample). Can the same be achieved for an audio-only device that has no Camera?
The functionality is actually that from the camera-id given a look up is made to find the related audio devices as setup in the Management Client. The functionality would not work for non-camera items.
I think EmbeddedCameraFQIDProperty is very much what it says and not prepared for non-camera items.
I think if Milestone should change something it should perhaps instead be another property on the view item to signal the Audio control in the left hand side what you want to fill it with.
Before discussing or suggesting this to Milestone Product Management could you perhaps elaborate on the usage case scenario and how you see a potential for business?
