We recently purchased Professional Plus and need change from the default port of 80 to another port say 8001. How do I do this so SMART client will connect

There is no way to do this via MIP SDK. It is possible, but it involves making multiple changes including…

* Change IIS Bindings

* Update one or more Registry keys

* Update one or more configuration files

* Update Registered Services and site properties to reflect the new HTTP port.

Our Technical Support team can provide guidance on this, and in particular, an internally written tool called the “Bulk Identity Changer” can also be used to update the HTTP port in addition to it’s original purpose of updating all service and application pool identities to a desired service account.
