What influences the value of the perfmon counter called "average GOP write time"

I have a test setup to push the limits of a server.

The code version is either of the 2019 releases. Running Prof+ in an All-in-one setup.

The test runs OK for several days, then I see this GOP counter start to grow quickly within 8 hours until it hits a high value that the feed overflows kick in.

The Max CPU time is during archiving and that shows appx 65%.

Understanding the pieces that influence this GOP counter will allow us to debug this behavior.
