What is the recommended installation of Milestone Xprotect Professional+?

I have a question about Milestone Xprotect Professional+.

Now I know I can install a Milestone Xprotect Professional+ installation in a distributed way. Let’s say I have multiple Windows machines: Machine1, Machine2 and Machine3.

My questions are:

- Is it recommended to install the Management Server and first Recording Server on Machine1, and then expand my system by adding Recording Servers on Machine2 and Machine3?

- Or is it recommended to install the Management Server on Machine1 and install all Recording Servers on separate machines?

- What are the benefits of one over the other? Or does it not make much of a difference?
